Chickweed - Stellaria media (Caprifoliaceae) - Arial parts
Chickweed is one of the first greens that grow in the springtime! It’s full of nutrients and can even bloom in the snow. It’s a juicy herb, lubricates the joints and the skin.
Chickweed is cooling and moistening. It supports and soothes heat and inflammation throughout the body. People often eat chickweed to help reduce arthritis and rheumatic pain.
